Directed blood donation is when blood donors donate blood for transfusion of a specific recipient. Altruistic blood donation, on the other hand, is when blood donors donate blood for general blood inventory.

According to a 2014 study in Pediatrics, 73 percent of children consume caffeine on a daily basis. This percentage remained about the same from 2000 to 2010, but what did change were the sources of caffeine.
